The Dashing Whippets Running Team (DWRT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit running organization operating under the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). Our goal is to compete in New York Road Runner Club (NYRR) and other races in the New York area and around the country. Runners of all levels are encouraged to join. The Elite Bodies Brooklyn Runners group is geared for new and experienced runners to participate in 3-5 mile runs in Dumbo, Cobble Hill & Brooklyn Heights.
We welcome runners of all abilities to join us for casual runs in Fort Greene and neighboring areas of Brooklyn. We meet at the southeast entrance of Fort Greene Park (corner of DeKalb and Cumberland Streets) and decide where to run from there. Join your neighbors for training and fun!
